Product Description

Senior/Light is specifically formulated for ageing dogs and dogs that are either overweight or at risk of becoming overweight. As dogs age their metabolism slows down and the risk of weight gain increases. To combat this, Senior/Light is lower in fat and higher in fibre than Easterbrook’s Adult flavours. Protein and phosphorus levels are also low to help protect kidney function which reduces with age. Glucosamine, MSM and Chondroitin are added to help protect and strengthen joints.

Easterbrook’s is a hypo-allergenic pet food using only Grade-A human consumption standard ingredients and absolutely NO Chemical Flavourings, Colourings or Preservatives. Being wheat gluten free and beef free it is particularly good for dogs with a sensitive digestion. The high quality of ingredients used makes Easterbrook’s perfect for fussy dogs.

We have 2 greyhounds, Prince 10 and Jo 8. Jo was having ongoing trouble with blocked anal glands so the vet suggested a change of diet. The re-homing centre suggested I contact Cormac to discuss a suitable alternative. Well – they haven’t looked back! Prince is enjoying a second childhood and Jo, who was quite buzzy, is even more so; they look so well now and are really enjoying life. The health and vitality of both dogs is obvious to others too – Prince was placed 2nd at a recent greyhound dog show and Jo got 6th and she’s never been placed before! Maggie

This has gone down very well with our three oldies, it contains good maintenance ingredients for them and has given them all soft and silky coats too. It has also improved their digestion, which is very important as they get older. It must be tasty as our fussy dog, Poppy drools over it and cannot wait until dinner times! Lynsey

My 11 year old Cocker Spaniel was having digestive problems, lots of horrible runny ‘poos’. On advise from the store owner changed from Bakers to Easterbrooks Senior/Light. Within a week changes were noticed. Poos became firm and ‘normal’, he has stopped pestering for food throughout the day and coat has improved. By sticking to the advertised feeding measurements Easterbrooks is now working out cheaper than less expensive varieties. Very pleased.

We have 2 dogs and they both Love this food. Our eldest dig has very sensitive skin and very problematic stomach. We have tried and tested all makes and sorts of dig food. This Easterbrooks food is the only one they can both tolerate and that they both enjoy. I would highly recommend this food to everyone.

Thanks for your review Donna and it’s great to hear that the Easterbrooks Senior is going down so well after trying so many other foods. You can’t really beat a bit of simple fish and rice for ease of digestibility.

As my dog got into his older age Cormac suggested changing him on to a food for senior dogs which I did and he seemed to enjoy it.

Poppy loves her new senior food, she gets a bit excited for dinner time. She is doing really well since starting the senior variety and has extra bounce now! At 13 and with no additional supplements, this alone is keeping her young and very active, so thank you Cormac

Having rescued eleven GSD`s over the last 30yrs+ you’d think we would have found the best type of dog food years ago,not so, we tried this and that ,no grain ,high protein etc .a,then when we recently got our present rescue who is now 13yr old, we were stumped as to what was best for her, lucky Cormack came to the rescue with Easterbrooks Senior Light, from a thin little girl with mucky dull coat and thinking well she may only have a few months to live, we can only do our best by her; now a year and half on we have a well covered girl with gleaming fur,and her energy levels are amazing, she`d play all day long, so thanks Cormack for recommending Easterbrooks, its given our girl a new lease on life.
You don`t make one for a 72yr old female human I suppose,I could do with some energy.

Our two lively Vizslas have had Easterbrooks most of their adult lives, having been recommended the salmon and potato at an early age. They have been neutered and spayed, yet never had any issues with weight gain. We introduced the senior food aged 7 and they continued to be fit healthy, lean and well muscled. We eat very well and believe that our dogs deserve to eat the best too.
